Cynthia Ashby, SPHR
Vice President of Human Resources
Cynthia brings a career dedicated to the field of Human Resources. She oversees the administration of the company’s staffing goals and strategies to support our productivity and success. She is also responsible for performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, with experience across both union and non-union environments. Cynthia was previously employed with Union Carbide and American Woodmark.
Cynthia received her Master’s Degree in Industrial Labor Relations from West Virginia University. She is also certified in Human Resource Strategy through Cornell University.
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Larry brings a breadth and depth of industry experience in sales management, marketing, new product development, customer service, and general management with both public and private-equity-owned companies as well as M&A turnarounds. His innovation-driven growth strategies are focused on brand and channel development as well as customer engagement. Previous experience includes marketing and sales positions with Johnson & Johnson, Igloo, Black & Decker, and Ames True Temper.
Larry holds a B.A. in Business from Azusa Pacific University and his M.B.A., from the University of New Haven.
Chief Financial Officer
Kevin brings 25+ years of financial accounting and financial management experience, having served in the CFO role in his two previous positions at Industrial Container Services and NuCO2, Inc. Kevin has also worked for Crane Aerospace, Crane Co., Sunbeam Corporation and the public accounting firms Deloitte & Touche, LLP and KMPG Peat Marwick. Kevin will be responsible for managing our treasury, finance, accounting and IT functions. Moreover, while maintaining the required financial compliance he will support the expected growth and maximize enterprise value.
Kevin received his BA from Pace University in New York.
Vice President of Operations
Kevin’s diverse experiences as a US Navy submariner, business owner and executive-level consultant across many industries will drive best practices across our manufacturing, operations, and safety functions. Prior to AccuTec, Kevin was Chief of Operations at DB&A – DeWolff, Boberg & Associates, Inc., where he catalyzed change across people and processes with strong, positive financial results. His passion for growing people into effective leaders will drive our operational excellence as we continue our growth plans.
Kevin earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of South Carolina, Columbia.
President & CEO
Rick establishes AccuTec’s strategy, direction and culture, building and leading the executive team, and allocating capital, amongst other responsibilities. Rick’s past senior management experience and expertise served as the driving force when AccuTec Blades, Inc. was successfully spun off from Edgewell Personal Care (formerly Energizer) in September 2015, in order to establish AccuTec Blades, Inc. as a standalone company. Rick served as the company’s Senior VP of Manufacturing and Engineering for 10 years and assumed the CEO position in 2015. Previous experience includes senior operating and engineering positions for Pratt & Whitney, Black and Decker, and Eaton Corporation.
Rick received his B.A. in Mechanical Engineering from Union College in Schenectady, New York and his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the A.L. Philpott Manufacturing Extension Partnership.
Vice President of Supply Chain
Sheila has worked in the supply chain and operations division of AccuTec’s Verona, Virginia facility since 2008. Sheila is responsible for managing manufacturing and global supply chain, including compliance and inventory control, purchasing and forecasting. She has held numerous supply chain roles with Alcoa, Reynolds Metals and Energizer.
Sheila received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Richmond and an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Director of Engineering
Randy is a blade industry expert having been with the company for over 25 years. He joined the company as a blade process engineer evolving through tenure to management of the Engineering and Quality teams. Randy is responsible for AccuTec’s new product development, product quality & control processes, and determining innovative ways to increase productivity, efficiency and existing product performance. Previous experience includes reporting directly into Schick Manufacturing’s Blade Innovation Group while owned by Edgewell Personal Care (formerly Energizer) and an Engineer for DuPont.
Randy received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Old Dominion University, graduated from Energizer Holding’s Managers Academy and holds his Six Sigma Greenbelt certification.
Regional Manager, LatAm
Rodrigo oversees AccuTec’s operations in Latin America, including the Ciudad, Obregon manufacturing facility which services customers in Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia. He is responsible for instituting policies and procedures, conducting training, and scheduling production. Rodrigo began working with American Safety Razor—now AccuTec Blades—in 2006. He has previous experience with Tyco Electronics, Delphi, and Bose & Hazaki.
Rodrigo received his B.A. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from ITSON and a Masters in Economic and Finance Engineering from ULSA. Rodrigo is certified as a Six Sigma Champion.
