AccuTec and COVID-19 Impact

04.02.20

Dear Valued Partner,

We want to confirm to you that AccuTec Blades is fully operational and able to support your business needs.  Both of our operations in Verona, Virginia, and Obregon, Mexico, have been deemed to be providing Essential Products or Services by their respective governments.  With these designations, both facilities will continue to remain open.

We are acutely focused on keeping our employees safe and have employed social distancing in the plants, work at home policies for those that can do so, enhanced disinfecting, and reducing wherever possible contact with outside people.  We will diligently follow all recommendations from U.S. and Mexican authorities to keep our people healthy.

While we have experienced some delay in acquiring product from China, all of our suppliers in China are now back up and running.  We feel we should be able to manage through this supply delay with minimal if any impact to you.  What we cannot predict, however, is what else may happen to our supply base as companies may be impacted by various Stay-at-Home rulings or worse yet, illness impacting their employees.

We have sent to all our suppliers, notification, that as a supplier to AccuTec, they are deemed a critical manufacturer per the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) National Critical Functions Set.  With this designation, their operation and their workers are also essential to the nation’s infrastructure supply chain.

We are privileged to have your trust to supply you with our products during this time and commit to you to provide transparency into our ability to meet your requirements should our situation change.

On behalf of all of us at AccuTec Blades – stay safe, stay healthy

Rick Gagliano
President & CEO – AccuTec Blades, Inc.
